BRASH has a wide range of local and national research projects aimed at translating basic research into clinical trials from i.e. going from ‘Bench to Bedside’, with active clinical trials units for both adults and children. The projects include: Studies into the molecular genetics and biomarkers of brain tumours Abnormal pathways driving brain and spinal cord tumours Neuroradiology studies using metabolite profiles with NMR to predict tumour behaviour Convection enhanced delivery to improve drug delivery to tumours among many others
